When we made our very first pizzas nearly 10 years ago, we named two of them Sofia and Giulia, after our daughters. Almost a decade later, you’ll still find both on our menu and in shops across the area.
What you might not know is that we continued this tradition, naming many of our special pizzas after members of our Italian family: Michele, Felice, Filomena, Antonio, Carolina, Serafina, Carmela, Paola, Rosina and others.
Every name means something special to us. They honour family members who helped shape our story, many of whom were part of our family’s proud history of Italian cafés and fish and chip shops.
Today, that family tradition continues. Both of our daughters and our nephew now play an active role in the business, helping with weekly catering, wholesale production and hospitality.
That’s why it means so much to us to be recognised as a finalist in the Family Business category at this year’s Courier Business Awards! 🏆
