Meet the new member of our 1942 team!
HILDA
We got her from a lovely family a couple of weeks ago 🧡and hope to look after her as well as they did. We’re very excited to bring her on our travels with us and looking to forward to adding a few 1942 touches to her at some point but for now its feels like the right time and fit for us to get her on the road
Also another new addition to our team, meet the lovely Oscar
and reintroducing our son Zain whose helped us so much from the start with FOH 🧡
We’re all very excited for this new part of our adventure to begin… toot toot 🚚

We did this thing.

If you know us, you’ll know putting ourselves out there like this is way outside our comfort zone. But the response to the article has honestly been overwhelming.

The messages, support, encouragement and kindness we’ve received over the last few days has filled our hearts more than you know — and we’re really glad we did it.

Looking back at where we started with our very first gazebo compared to where we are now is pretty emotional. A lot of long days, late nights, lessons, setbacks and belief have gone into this journey so far.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s supported 1942 Streetfood along the way — whether you’ve bought a samosa, shared a post, recommended us to a friend or stood in a queue waiting for food from us.

And honestly… this still feels like just the beginning.

We’ve got some exciting things to come...the next step in our journey .....watch this space🧡
