Simbed Horse Bedding

Simbed Horse Bedding Dust extracted, absorbent, milled straw bedding , produced on our family farm in Chesterfield. Simbed is a milled straw bedding.

We use Oilseed R**e straw that has been hammer milled, which opens up the stem of the straw revealing the absorbent core. The wheat straw in our bedding provides a fluffy texture to the bedding making it is easy to move around. The bedding is double-dust extracted and it also biodegrades easily to make a good natural fertiliser. Our plain bedding is treated with Stable Guard which provides antimic

robial protection as well as deterring horses from eating it. Our Eucalyptus option helps to clear airways, deter flies and smells wonderful!

We are working hard at Simbed to keep you supplied with hay through this national shortage.

We also need you to help eachother by only collecting what you really need right now. To ensure fairness and continuity we ask that you purcase bales in line with your normal usage, please do not stock up.

Due to the increasing costs of sourcing hay, our small bales of hay now cost £8 per bale.

We want to know if there would be any interest from our customers in using Oat Straw as an alternative to hay this winter?

Oat straw would be a cheaper alternative that is a high fibre, low calorie feed.
