🎊🎉 Friday Flavours 🎉🎊

It's Friday and here are you flavours for the weekend and week ahead!

The end of the three day shows saw us home a day early from the Royal Cornwall show due to the weather but it wraps up a brilliant run of three day shows for us taking three breed champions, two interbreeds and the most points in the sheep section at Royal Cornwall Show. We now go onto the one days shows where we also add in cattle to the mix!

Ferns been busy baking up a storm for us with bakes and the veg, meat and milk are all ready to go!

🎊🎉 Friday Flavours 🎉🎊

It's Friday again and here are your flavours for the weekend and week ahead!

We've got our Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool for sale down in the shed. Useful for hanging baskets and keeping those weeds away!

Also the butter, cakes and meat are all available!

We've been at our last county show this week! Royal Cornwall taking champion and reserve again and being tapped out this morning the overall champion group of three of the show!!!

Untreated Sheep’s wool for sale 🐑

We are now selling our sheep’s wool from our flock at the farm. It is great to use for gardening, insulation and perfect for hanging baskets.

Available at the shed. Feel free to contact us if you are wanting a larger quantity. 🐑

🎊🎉. Friday Flavours 🎉🎊

Half term is nearly over and the weather has blessed us with sunshine for most of it!

We've been away at the Royal Bath and West this week with the sheep taking champion and reserve in the breed.
We've also cut hay at home ready to make into bales for the cows during the winter months.

Ferns made us a fresh batch of bakes and Harriet's been on the butter!

Another early one this week and it's due to us all being at the Devon County Show this week.
We've had a great day taking breed champion with our Devon and Cornwall Longwool ewe hog and all the kids getting involved with showing! And ice cream!!!

Ferns bringing more bakes tomorrow and the butter has been restocked with yummy new flavours!!!

🎊🎉 Friday Flavours 🎉🎊

It's nearly the half term holidays can you believe! Here are your weekend flavours and for the week ahead!

We've had Stokenham Area Primary School reception class here for a farm walk this week, Birdie very proudly bought her class to show them the calves, parlour and show sheep. We love having groups here to explain about where their food comes from.

Fern will be restocking us with cakes and the butter will be in stock also!

🎉🎊 Friday Flavours 🎊🎉

Happy Friday (Thursday)!!! A slightly earlier post due to being busy tomorrow morning.

We've had a busy week here catching up on odd jobs, the kids have started picking out their show lambs to halter break and with Charles, Caroline, Ruby and Emily ready for their show debuts in a couple of weeks time we hope the kids are just as prepared!

Ferns restocking us with delicious goods in the morning and the butter and meat will be all ready to go too!

🎉🎊 Friday Flavours 🎊🎉

Happy Friday! The 1st of May!!!! Where have four months already gone!

We've got our first crop of grass silage in the pit and now these few showers will help green up the grass ready for fertilizer and slurry for the second cut in a few weeks time.

Else where we've started shearing the sheep as the warmer weather brings out the fly's and the risk of maggots so shearing them now will help prevent any major fly strike.

The meat and milk is all restocked for the weekend with a fresh lot of lamb being picked up today!

Ferns got a fresh batch of baked goodies coming and Harriet's fresh butter is in the fridge.
