Handmade in the Helderberg, Metzer Wines is all about place, precision and quiet confidence.

Founded by Wade Metzer and Barry Holfeld, this is a producer built on typicity - wines that speak clearly of where they come from, rather than wines shaped to follow trends.

The focus on Chenin Blanc, Cinsault and Shiraz feels thoughtful and deeply Cape: old vines, coastal influence, natural fermentation and a less-is-more approach in the cellar.

These are not loud wines. They are detailed, textured and full of personality - all while capturing the Helderberg with honesty, restraint and serious drinkability.

On , we're celebrating a farmer whose work has challenged conventional thinking about agriculture for more than a decade.

He has spent years restoring soil health through regenerative farming practices at , working with nature to support both the land and the wines it produces.
