It’s been 3 months!
There were times over the last 3 years when I wondered if I would ever walk normally again.
It is so fun to be FREE again!!! At this point there are ZERO restrictions on what I can do.
I am back walking all over the place, and doing all the yoga poses that I actually want to do, (sorry navasana, it might be over between us), including handstands obviously.
I am so grateful to the team for my new hips. They were amazing from start to finish, and should my knees go, they will be my first call.
I’m also grateful to yoga…
Not because yoga “fixed” my hips—it didn’t. But because yoga taught me how to stay present when things were hard, how to breathe through discomfort, and how to keep showing up one day at a time.
Three months is still early, or so people keep saying!
But what a difference three months can make.
July 18 I’m in Kent for a rocket afternoon. Otherwise it’s my usual zoom and live classes in London. Hope to see you soon!
***Huge shout out to my amazing physio He is the one sorting out the mess in my spine from walking like a drunken cowboy for three years. 😂. Highly recommend him if you’re in London.
