🐝 🐝 The first jars of the season are now on sale! 🐝 🐝

Runny honey is now available, the bees have mostly been collecting from rapeseed fields so the honey has a lovely buttery yellow colour.

It has been a difficult season for our hives. Unfortunately, 6 out of 20 hives have been lost for reasons we have yet to work out. To coincide with this the cost of the jars has risen so we have had to increase our price to £7 for a 454g jar and £4 for a 226g jar.

If you would like to collect a jar from Adrian at 52 Church Lane, please do pop in, he is available most early evenings 5:30-7:00pm. Card or cash payment is accepted.

If you would like a jar delivered, I am available to drop jars to your doorsteps this Saturday morning, the 4th June. Please message below.

🤧 Suffering from a cold? 🤧

For the past few winters, I have used this recipe to make my own Elderberry Syrup rather than pay for expensive bottles.
The elderberry plant is considered the most potent for preventing colds. I always add some of Adrian & Barbara's honey to the recipe and the children love taking it. I hope this recipe helps if your immune system needs a pick me up.

Elderberry syrup is an effective and healthy remedy against colds and flu. It's easy and inexpensive to make at home and kids actually like the taste!
