I live in the beautiful Berkshire village of Cookham on the banks of the River Thames. And when I'm not out and about enjoying the river views, I can often be found in the kitchen! I've loved baking ever since I was a young girl. My grandmothers' love of baking rubbed off on me. They taught me how to make many of the classics; Victoria sponge, Welsh cakes, scones, peanut cookies, Lamingtons.....(I

could go on)! For me, it's a nostalgic pastime but also a way of unleashing creative ideas. It brings me great joy to make cakes for friends and family...anything from small treats and gifts to grand cakes for special occasions. I wish to share photos of some of my bakes.
