This season, the trends are still all about Lambeth cakes and beautiful fruit & botanical decorations.

Timeless, elegant and full of charm - these styles are definitely here to stay!

Choosing your wedding cake maker?

Look for someone whose style matches your vision, but also someone you feel comfortable talking to. From flavours and fillings to colours, flowers and finishing touches, your cake maker should take the time to understand exactly what you’re dreaming of.

Don’t be afraid to ask about cake tastings, portion sizes, delivery, setup and dietary requirements, as well as how far in advance they need your booking. Most importantly, choose someone who you trust to bring your ideas to life and make the whole experience enjoyable.

Here we are, 4 years later... Never in a million years did I imagine that this is where I’d be 4 years after posting my first cake and giving this whole baking thing a go.

Thank you to all my lovely customers. Thank you for trusting me with all your celebrations, big or small. Thank you to everyone who has chosen Lilkabakes throughout the years. I simply wouldn’t exist without you.

Here’s to many more years of baking, creating, and keeping my little business alive 🤍
