Chef Andy Benn has created a crunchy, spicy flavour stack - lashings of pork glazed in black pepper, ginger and soy, layered with crisp slaw, spicy kimchi and rocket on toasted ciabatta, finished with soft pork belly skewers 😋

This Earth Day, we’re sharing the progress we’re making on our ESG journey 🌍

Our goal is to reach carbon neutrality by the end of the year. Foodmaker is leading the way, with the wider group set to follow - including future carbon offset programmes.

We track our environmental metrics monthly, including gas, electricity, water use, waste streams and vehicle mileage. This helps us measure year-on-year CO₂ reductions and set clear targets.

🚛 Less fuel, more power
We’ve installed EV chargers on-site and are continuing our transition to hybrid and electric vehicles where feasible

📦 Recycled packaging
We’re introducing 30% recycled content into our Rip ‘n Flow sacks, helping reduce single-use plastic

⚡ Renewable energy
Foodmaker now operates on 100% green tariff electricity and gas - meaning all our energy comes from renewable sources

🌱 Smarter supply chains
By simplifying sourcing and focusing on core ingredient routes, we’re reducing transport distances and associated emissions, while maintaining full traceability and food safety standards
