All profits go towards supporting the charitable aims of the Anne Matthews Trust at Braich Goch A new food take away project at the Braich Goch
We are back with a new Thursday night take away happening at the Braich Goch. This time we’re doing things a little differently and we will be serving up dishes from around the world that all have one thing in common - they’re all wrapped, folded or rolled
! Everything from Mexican Burritos to Indian Kati rolls to Greek Spanakopita to Thai Lettuce wraps! All dishes will be served with satisfying sides and sauces to take them from street food snacks to hearty main meals. If you ate our lockdown take away last year you’ll remember our ethos was affordable donation based food as a response to the crisis. This time we’ll be charging a little more, with all profits going to supporting the charitable aims of the Anne Matthews Trust at Braich Goch - working on issues of oppression and social injustice; providing a space of sanctuary and learning for young people and families of refugee and migrant backgrounds, around the country. Ordering will be available online Fri- Wed, or on the phone on a Wednesday. It is still important to us that healthy and exciting food reaches those on all budgets, so this time we will be offering a ‘pay it forward option’. At check out there will be the possibility to choose to donate towards a meal for someone who cannot afford one, and there will be a simple order option to select a free meal for yourself. Where possible we hope to work with local growers and suppliers to support and strengthen the exciting local food network we have in the Dyfi Valley, while also keeping our food affordable.
