An independent, innovative, regional co-operative offering food, funeralcare and our Helping Hearts scheme, which provides thousands of charitable donations throughout the region. Helping Hearts Awards scheme

In 2000 the Heart of England Co-operative Society launched the Helping Hearts Awards scheme helping charities and worthy causes across our trading area with over £1.2m pledged to date. Since then thousands of people in Coventry, Warwickshire, south Leicestershire and Northamptonshire have benefited from the scheme. Catherine Evans, Community & Membership Adviser of the Heart of England Co-operative Society, said: “We receive applications from some fantastic groups which are going all out to engage with their communities, bringing them closer together and working together for the benefit of everyone around them.”

🏆⚽ The Emirates FA Cup Trophy came to our Balsall Common store this weekend!

Customers had the chance to see the iconic trophy up close and snap some unforgettable photos. 📸

We also hosted our Meet the Makers event, where local suppliers shared the stories behind the fantastic food products on our shelves. ❤️🍓🧀 Customers enjoyed chatting to the producers, sampling delicious treats, and entering competitions, including the chance to win a luxury Mudwall's food and drink hamper worth £75! 🎁

🎉 Warwick, we're here! 🎉

We're delighted to have officially opened our 40th food store in the centre of Warwick! 🏰

This exciting new store brings together: 🛒 A convenience store 🥪 An all-day food-to-go counter ☕ A Bewiched Coffee shop

And we've launched the biggest food-to-go selection we've ever offered, including: 🍳 Cooked breakfasts 🥔 Jacket potatoes 🍕 Pizza 🥞 Pancakes 🍦 Soft serve ice cream 🍰 Desserts 🥪 Hot sandwiches...and so much more!

We've carefully designed the store with local residents, workers, visitors, shoppers and tourists in mind, while also creating 45 new jobs for the local area ❤️

Opening day was packed with fun, including stilt walkers, mascots, tastings and giveaways. We'd like to thank and all the local businesses who joined us to celebrate.

A huge thank you to our colleagues, suppliers, partners and community groups for helping make this fantastic opening possible.

We can't wait to become part of the Warwick community! 👏

🎉 Our new community food store in Flying Fields, Southam is now open! 🎉
We're delighted to welcome customers to our brand-new 3,000 sq ft store, which also introduces a fresh new visual identity for Heart of England Co-op that will be rolled out across more stores in the future.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the store includes solar panels, rainwater harvesting and dedicated nesting spaces for birds and bats, making it our most environmentally friendly store to date.
The opening has also created 14 local jobs, reaffirming our commitment to investing in and supporting the communities we serve.
It was wonderful to see so many people joining us to celebrate, with face painting, bucket drumming, the chance to meet Cooper the Bear, goody bag giveaways and more.
Thank you to all our colleagues, suppliers, partners and community groups who helped make this milestone possible.
🩵We look forward to serving the Southam community for many years to come.
