Bank Holiday weekend opening hours at Ryton Pools Country Park🕰️

🌳 Park: 8am–8pm
🏡 Visitor Centre: 9.45am–4pm
☕ Farmers Fayre Farm Shop & Kitchen: 8.30am–5pm Saturday and Sunday, and 8.30am–4.30pm Monday. Hot food served until 3pm.
🚲 Mercia Cycles- Ryton Pools bike hire: 10am-5.30pm (please call 07958580874 to confirm if it's very wet).
🍦 Twirl & Swirl ice cream trailer: 10am–5pm
🚂 Miniature Railway: 1pm–4pm Sunday and Monday, weather permitting.

Burn off steam in our play areas, dodge the showers under our courtyard pergola, and look out for the varied wildlife enjoying the last days of summer!

As we’re nearing the end of the season, I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our old customers and our new ones for your continued support. 🤍

Twirl & Swirl is transforming into something I can truly believe in, and watching it grow each and every day is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you for every recommendation, every booking, every like, comment, share and every interaction with us — whether that’s been on one of our units or through social media. Your support never goes unnoticed. 🫶

We’ve had such a fabulous summer and have been lucky enough to attend some amazing events and meet so many wonderful people along the way! 🎉

It hasn’t all been plain sailing. We’ve had our ups, our downs and everything in between, including a lot of challenges behind closed doors that many of you will never have seen. But with a little determination, hard work and a whole lot of belief, there’s nothing that can’t be overcome. 💪🏼

So, once again, thank you. Thank you for believing in Twirl & Swirl, for choosing us, recommending us and helping us grow.

Ryton Pools Country Park

I recently attended an event where Camp Hill Community CIC were using a scheme that I thought was such a fantastic way to give back to the community 💗

Each child received a £5 voucher to spend at the event, with vendors reimbursed for the vouchers they received.

What I loved most was that every child received one. Unlike schemes where only children deemed “eligible” benefit, no child was singled out or made to feel different.

It also gave children the chance to choose what they wanted, check prices, work out what they could afford and make their own decisions — a great little bit of real-life financial learning!

And for parents, especially those with multiple children, £5 per child can make a real difference. Days out quickly add up, particularly at this time of year, so this helped make the event a little more affordable for families too.

Such a simple idea, but one that promotes inclusion, independence and community support. 👏❤️
