Took the chance on Saturday to mow some 4th cut with a clover-rich sward and whilst weather didn’t match the forecast we got it baled this afternoon

Reckon housing will happen next week due to a shortage of grass
On the other hand we mowed some fourth cut earlier - very late but a heavy, clover-rich sward isn’t ideal for grazing at this time of year 🍂

No creep feeder with this batch of calves so took a few days - and a lot of patience - to get them all eating from the trough👌
A bit more work and we’ll have them in the creep area which will in time allow the calves to graze ahead of their mothers
