Melplash Agricultural Show
Another trip out for our little flock and another very successful day. At least this time we were put in the Primitive classes. Starting with the Any age ram class and little Hektor (shearling) came away with a 2nd being beaten by a lovely 4 horned Hebridean we then took two of our shearling ewes into the any age ewe class and Jounieh was placed 3rd and Flekka went on to win the class. We then took Hektor Jounieh and Flekka into the group of three and we're thrilled to win. Flekka was then up against all the other Primitive winners in the Championship and I was over the moon when she took Champion 🏆
Melplash is a very busy Agricultural Show there is always masses of sheep there and numerous classes. We took the group of three in the interbreed championship but stood no chance against the likes of texels/Dutch spotted/Suffolks but we were more than happy with our results. Flying the flag for the Icelandics here in the South 🐑🐑🐑

It was lovely to get the sheep out to a show today they behaved impeccably and did very well. Sakla (aka Princess) won her class and went on to be Reserve Champion little Hektor was 2nd in the shearling ram class his first outing and Flekka 3rd in the shearling ewe class they then went on to be 2nd in the group of 3. Hopefully I'll be able to get more photos 💕🐑🏆
