Well that was an eventful project!!

I had the privilege of making a wedding cake and 80 cupcakes for my beautiful friend Megan Simpkins.

The weather was most definitely not in my favour in the run up to the wedding, delaying production of roses and cupcake toppers but I managed to pull it off!

A 3 layer chocolate sponge cake with chocolate buttercream, marble effect fondant cover and handmade wired fondant rose bouquet topper.
80 vanilla cupcakes, 40 with a lemon buttercream and 40 with a chocolate buttercream all finished with lace effect fondant dome toppers.
