Signature Catering Ltd is a family business which was founded in 2008. Chris is the Director and Chef, with Lisa, also a Director, working behind the scenes on the Finances. Chris brings forth an impressive 30+ years of culinary experience. Having worked in renowned establishments including Ackerman, Good Food Guide, 2 AA Rosette, and Michelin Star Restaurants and Hotels, Chris’s expertise is unpa

ralleled. Notably, Chris’s exceptional skills have been previously recognised through the prestigious NMT (Nursery Management Today), Chef of the Year Award. Signature Catering Ltd provides many different types of culinary delights and more recently has added another string to its bow called “The Roaring Donkey”. This is a Mobile Kitchen and Bar that can provide a variety of services, which can be tailored to the individual needs of any occasion. Guests started with a mezze-style sharing platter of artisan breads, continental meats, marinated olives, caprese salad, hummus, garlic ciabatta and balsamic dip.

For the main course, homemade steak & ale pie with creamy mash, onion gravy and seasonal vegetables, with a sweet potato, spinach & coconut pie for the vegetarian option.

Dessert was a full table of chocolate profiteroles, chocolate and caramelised nut brownies, glazed lemon tart and fresh fruit salad.

A beautiful celebration at Froyle Park

Congratulations to the lovely couple who celebrated their wedding with 74 guests at Froyle Park in Alton this weekend.

Guests started with pulled chicken topped with cilantro crema and fresh mango slaw, alongside oriental duck pancakes served with all the favourites.

For mains, we served pot roasted chicken with butternut squash purée, marinated salmon with wilted spinach, and a rich roasted vegetable tagine packed with warming flavour.

Dessert was all about indulgence, chocolate brownie with caramelised nuts and classic apple tarte tatin served with ice cream.

Thank you couple to the happy for letting us be part of such a special day.

A recent Wedding Tasting Experience gave us the chance to work closely with a lovely couple as they explored and refined their perfect wedding menu.

On the table:
• Duck pâté with fig jam
• Smoked salmon and smoked cod’s roe crostini
• Prawns with wasabi and pickled cucumber
• Crispy halloumi with baba ganoush
• Goat’s cheese tartlet

Each dish was carefully presented, tasted, and discussed, helping bring their ideas to life with confidence and clarity.
