Very sad to be leaving the Valais at home this year but excited to have a go with our lovely (and very wild) flock of Clun Forests.

They’ve spent the week with access to one of the barns off the hill but tonight they’re locked in out of the wind & rain 🌧️

3 PEDIGREE (IN LAMB) GREYFACED DARTMOOR EWES 🏡

Rare breed sheep with good confirmation, would excel in the show ring. Available to good homes with knowledge of sheep keeping.

All in lamb to a well bred registered tup who is also looking for a new home - would make great starter flock or can be sold separately.

All 2022 born, 2 scanned with twins, 1 scanned a single. All in heptavac p system, fluke, wormed and bolused recently.

A good price can be negotiated for the 3 or 4 to go together.

Throwback to Wensleydale Show 2024

Ina doing what she does best, making the public smile 😆

She fetched a well deserved 2nd place at Wensleydale and made more friends then at any other show that year. It’s unlikely that Ina will be around the county showing this year as her fleece is a little on the older side for perading around the ring. I have a feeling we may buckle just the once because no sheep has ever loved the attention of showing like Ina does.

We don’t have favourite’s here, but before you ask, it’s Ina ❤️❤️

Our lovely mother daughter duo are enjoying their warm winter hotel (but mostly enjoying the buffet!) 🐷

These girls are attached at the hip. They eat together, sleep next to each other and discuss everything between themselves before hand. Im not sure they’d actually notice if everything in the pen left. As long as they have each other, nothing else matters 😂❤️

They have an impeccable ability to spot hoof trimmers & blue spray from a mile away, they know it’s coming before we do 🤣

This will be their first time lambing with us in 2025 and we’re very excited to see what they produce for us 🥰

P.s Funny mule friend is purely spoiled due to being our Tups best friend & has somehow secured himself a ticket to the high life as I’m too soft to separate them 🙄

Winter must be here! ❄️☃️

Our small flock of 10 will be residing in a very large pen in a barn for the next few months where they’ll be keeping warm, dry and won’t be wasting any unnecessary calories battling the elements instead of growing thier lambs.

This weekend really tested us with the commercial ewes & lambs but the Valais stood strong and braved the blizzard surprisingly well. No taking shelter in snow drifts & wall lines for these brain boxes!

We’re looking forward to the scanner arriving on 15th December to confirm our hopes that everyone is carrying babies! Fingers crossed February will be kind to us! ❤️
