We had a good day last Saturday with the team, all home bred in quality classes. Nice to catch up with other breeders and thankful it wasn't a red hot day 😎 Thanks go to Tom Blamire for judging and well done to Olbre Zwartbles with Champion and Hayberries with Reserve. Both outstanding sheep.

Today was our first show of 2026, and it was nice to catch up with friends and support this lovely show . Delighted with our results in big classes....

✅️ First batch away, 7 lads = av 58kg killed out at 51%, job done all sold privately to repeat customers who say they've never tasted lamb like it ❤️ A selection of tup lambs for breeding available soon by same sires.

Is it April 1st today? 😁

If you want to walk your pet pig, you must have a walking licence from APHA, and your route must be pre-approved to prevent and control the spread of diseases.

Your route may not be approved by APHA if it is considered to be an avoidable risk of disease spread, for example if it passes near:
• A livestock market
• A pig farm
• A fast-food outlet

Always carry your licence with you during the walk, and you must renew it every year.
