An all-savoury buffet for 15 people, freshly prepared and set up today in Birchington, just opposite beautiful Quex Park 🤍

A delicious spread made for sharing, with a selection of:

• Falafels, homemade tzatziki and flatbread
• Sausage rolls and BBQ pulled pork sliders
• Mini quiches
• Salad bowls including our classic French rice salad
• Italian style focaccia and mini baguettes

It was so lovely to be back at The Night Yard, where I used to work in 2025, but this time, I was there for a very different reason! 🥐✨

I had the pleasure of preparing and delivering a bridal breakfast in their beautiful new bridal suite, The Piggery, ready for the bride and her bridal party to enjoy before the celebrations began.

The spread included a selection of pastries, French toast, fruit skewers, yoghurt pots, orange juice and sausage rolls, with gluten-free options prepared especially for guests with dietary requirements so everyone can have a proper breakfast together. 🍓🥞

It was such a lovely feeling returning to a place I know so well, this time bringing Afternoon Pause with me. A little full-circle moment!

Part 2 of last week at Afternoon Pause !

And finally, Saturday evening was all about a girls’ night! 🥂💕

I put together an intimate cold buffet for a group getting together for an evening of good food, drinks and catching up.

The spread included:
• Croques Monsieur
• Sausage Rolls
• Courgette and Feta Mini Quiche
• Salmon canapés
• Moroccan inspired Taboulé
• Tiramisu
• Chocolate Mousse
• Lemon drizzle

All homemade 🫶🏻 My buffets aren’t just for big celebrations, they’re perfect for smaller gatherings at home too, when you want to put on a lovely spread without spending hours in the kitchen.

A little Summer Box ordered as a surprise gift from my customer living in the US for her sister in Deal 🫶🏻

🥳 Saturday – Birthday celebration

This customer went for:
🥪 Large Finger Sandwich Platter with 1 Vegan sandwich option
🌱Large Vegan Savoury Platter

Different occasions, different menus, but the same idea: delicious food without having to prepare it all yourself and convenient!

I'm excited to be exhibiting at the Big Summer Wedding Fair at Canterbury Cricket Ground on Sunday 23rd August where I’ll be there showcasing my French-inspired Bridal Breakfasts & Brunches, now one of my most popular services! 🥐

From a lighter breakfast to a full brunch, everything can be tailored to your preferences, dietary requirements and budget.

If you're getting married, part of the wedding party, a parent or in-law, or simply know someone who is, come and say hello! I'd love to meet you and chat about how Afternoon Pause can be part of your wedding morning.

Another Afternoon Pause buffet, this time for a family garden party in Deal! 🥂✨

My second cold buffet was delivered this weekend for 10 people, with a lovely mix of savoury bites and sweet treats to enjoy together in the garden. ☀️

The menu included:
* Salad bowls
* Finger sandwiches
* Sliders
* Canapés
* Verrines
* Chocolat mousse, lemon drizzle and fruit skewers

🌿 And of course, menus can be adapted to suit your guests and budget.

And … we have a new cheese board and a charcuterie board coming up on the menu soon ! 🧀 Stay tuned for pictures !!

👋🏻 Hi everyone! As I celebrated Afternoon Pause 6 months anniversary yesterday, I thought I could create a little Get to know me post. I’ve been sharing lots of food and updates but I realised I’ve never actually introduced me properly!

🥳 A little birthday party inspiration! 📸 from my lovely customer

Today’s platters were heading to a birthday celebration in Broadstairs with a mix of finger sandwiches and baguettes for the adults, plus a smaller platter of finger sandwiches especially for the children. 🥪👧

Received some really great feedback, especially about the baguettes 🥖

Everything is prepared fresh, delivered ready to serve, and that’s one less thing to think about when you’re getting ready for a party. 🎉
