It is with regret that we have to announce that the Sheaf of Arrows is now closed and will no longer operate as a pub. With a combination of huge running costs and a downturn in trade, it is unfortunately not viable.
It will however, shortly reopen as a licenced guest house, to which, due to it's accessibility, and location , it is more suited.
We wish to thank all our customers for their support

Topside of Aberdeen Angus beef
Bronze turkey breast
Apricot nut roast.

All served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage,, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy.

DESSERTS
Eton mess with whipped cream, berries and crushed meringue
Sticky toffee pudding with rum and raisin ice cream
Chocolate brownie with cream or ice cream

People are talking about our Sunday roasts. We do a choice of two local meats, topside of Aberdeen Angus beef and either pork or turkey served with roast potatoes, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding and red wine gravy.
There is always a home made vegetarian/vegan option served with gluten free, vegetarian gravy.
If you can manage a dessert, we do a choice of three home made ones.

It's a lovely evening for a chilled glass of rosé on our patio. We have four including the Portacelli Cava.
We are open all over the bank holiday and still have tables available for Sunday lunch.

EASTER WEEKEND
Celebrate Easter with us at the Sheaf of Arrows and taste some of the best produce that our region has to offer. Our Spring menu uses local ingredients beautifully cooked with originality and flair.
On our specials boards we will have fish supplied by our sister company, The Portland Scallop Co, mainly caught between Portland and Lyme Regis.
Pair your meal with a glass of local ale or cider, all sourced from Dorset, Devon and Somerset or a perfect glass of carefully chosen wine from our wine list
