🏆 GYS 2026 🏆

We can only just take in what an epic week we had at !

To take home one championship is special but to take 2 was just unthinkable when we set off for one of our favourite weeks of the year, the week kicked off with the Beltex Gimmer taking champion on Tuesday morning, followed about 20mins later by Stonehills Sally Broadhooks 6th and her gorgeous calf taking Beef Shorthorn Champion. We had a lot of fun celebrating on Tuesday night!

Wednesday was the turn of the Texels and Poll Dorsets, with our Poll Dorset Gimmer and Ewe both winning their classes and going on to take Reserve Female Champion.

Thursday was the turn of the Beltex again as she then went on to stand Reserve Supreme. Not to be outdone the children also showed their skills in the Young Handlers with Jonts scooping 2nd and doing such a fab job in the ring, Wills was hot on his heels in 5th and Ottie having showed with the adults earlier in the week got a highly commended!

What a week! Filled to the brim with celebrations, fun and friends! We also enjoyed all the show had to offer, the boys love the gamekeeper zone and fly fishing and us girls loved being there to see win his 7th C**k of the North - very special indeed!

A lot goes into getting the stock to these shows and the biggest congratulations of the week must go to Chris - he will hate me for congratulating him but he deserves it! His passion and pride in his stock is evident and to get rewarded in this way is the icing on the cake. Also helping us out at the show as it really does take an army is Allan Jackson who turned the cattle out and showed them as always to perfection and Robbie Atkin who trimmed the Beltex & Poll Dorsets - thank you boys!

Just a quick run through of what is in the Freezer - lots of delicious grass fed steaks and BBQ bits!

We are loving BBQ’ing at the moment - we even had Bavette on the BBQ this morning for breakfast, it was so so good!

🏵️ LINCOLNSHIRE SHOW 🏵️

We had a great few days last week at Lincolnshire Show showing the Texels and Beltex - lots of rosettes, topped off with Male Champion and Reserve Overall Champion with the Beltex.

It was fab to see the children loving the showing and having lots of fun! Lincoln is always one of our favourites - next stop is with the cattle coming along too!

And no the boys aren’t sponsored by 🤣

EGGS 🥚

Last month we launched our own free range eggs into our vending machine!

We are so excited to be able to sell the eggs from our own free to roam and happy hens 💚

The girls must be very happy as they are laying well and the eggs are delicious!

We sell our eggs in half dozen’s and have just added some 20 trays to the vending machine too - if you need to feed an army of do a heap of baking these are fab for that!

Another farm fresh product that we are proud to sell direct from our farm to your fork!

BBQ TIME - BURGERS ARE IN THR FRIDGE 🔥

The sunshine is here and we are in for a heatwave! Wooohooo! What better combo for the bank holiday weekend!

In the fridge there are burgers ready to go and pop on the grill along with sausage and short ribs.

All the steaks are in the freezer too - along with slow cooking joints if you wanted to get creative!
