15 hot meals went out last night 🥰

Thank you to Andrea Allen and Ann-Marie Stead for helping with the soup pots and a financial donation to get food in.

We took advantage of the 4p offer of fruit and veg at Morrisons and I have blanched and frozen some carrot, swede & onion, to cook soup next week served with warm bread.

We are still in need of food and donations. Can you help? However small 🥰

Morrisons are doing veg at 4p. I’m arranging for 3 swedes, two packs of carrots, 1 onion and a garlic bulb to make soup. To serve the soup, we are in need of these disposable soup cups. Is anyone able to buy these, please? (We only have enough for the veg, I will be putting money in myself to get the bread and butter, and the veg stock I have already, to accompany the soup).

On Friday, we handed out chicken burger meals 🍔

We have pies for next weeks, but nothing else to accompany them with. We have 76p in the bank. 🏦

We’ve written to local companies and I’ll be popping into Asda and Morrisons to see if they’ll be able to help 🥘

In the meantime, we are struggling with weeks going forward. Are you able to help? A supermarket voucher? A frozen food shop delivered. Some food out the freezer you don’t think you’ll use? 🙏

If anyone is able to have anything delivered, please inbox for my address. ✉️

It truly is heartwarming knowing we can provide 1 hot meal a week, and be able to hand out toiletries to those that simply do not have them. We spent time talking to the individuals, leaning their names and their stories. We do try to help in anyway we can. ♥️

Any help is appreciated, a community bringing care and support to those vulnerable in our society. We are so thankful for the support that has been given to us so far. We’ve really made a difference every week. And that’s down to such wonderful caring people 🤗

Two people were unable to eat our sausages yesterday (people were new) and so today, as ever, including the cooking, I donated these meals myself, I made two plant based spaghetti and meatballs, in a sun-dried tomatoe sauce with garlic bread

We are in need of hot food this Friday

Can anyone buy or make any donations for us

A large bag of potatoes 🥔 (approx £2.50)
Approx 40 sausages (2x20 pack frozen) 🌭 (approx £4)
Butter 🧈 (approx £1.50)
1 tin of processed peas 🫛 (approx 40p)
