Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

Today we celebrate the women who:

• Told us to put a coat on
• Asked “who’s all going to be there?”
• And could smell nonsense from three rooms away

Let’s be honest…

Yer Ma deserves more than petrol station flowers and a panic-bought card.

She deserves a proper coffee.

So today stick the kettle on, give her a hug, and remind her she did a decent job raising ye.

Everyone talks about beans, grind size, water temperature and all that carry-on.

In reality, the key is simple:
drink it before you start talking to people.

Get that right and suddenly the coffee’s perfect, the day’s manageable, and you’re much nicer company.

Science probably disagrees.
Experience doesn’t.

Meet Reba ☕️

This blend is called Reba, after my mum — and the truth is, nothing I’m doing now exists without her.

She was there long before Yer Ma’s had a name. Long before the good ideas worked, and long after the bad ones didn’t. Every misstep, every restart, every moment where it would’ve been easier to stop — she was still there, steady as ever.

She never drank coffee herself.
But she understood what it meant to me.

Early mornings, long days, and more than a few ideas that didn’t pan out — the cup was always ready. Not as a gesture, just as something that needed done. Quiet support, given without condition.

That’s what this blend stands for.

Reba is full and confident, with deep caramel sweetness, milk chocolate richness, and a brightness that carries it through. It doesn’t rush, it doesn’t hide, and it doesn’t fade away halfway through — it holds its ground.

This coffee is about resilience.

About backing someone even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed.
It’s the foundation everything else is built on.

And it always will be.

Meet Greta ☕️

Every blend at Yer Ma’s has a reason behind it.

This one’s called Greta, named after my nanny.

She didn’t mince her words, but she always had a twinkle in her eye. Practical, steady, and quietly looking out for everyone — usually with a smart remark not far behind.

She was someone people leaned on.
Someone who could listen, laugh, and then tell you exactly what she thought — whether you were ready for it or not.

That’s what this blend is meant to be.

Greta is comforting without being soft.

Dependable, familiar, and quietly confident… with just enough character to keep you on your toes.

It’s a small nod to a big presence.
She’d have approved. Eventually.
