Since the Dunbar community has so many furry friends, we couldn’t let you down! We’ve had lots of questions about whether dogs are welcome. Because our restaurant is quite small, we originally planned to allow guide dogs only — but we’re happy to say we now welcome all good behaved dogs.

Please note that we have just one dog-friendly table, so be sure to book in advance and let us know you’re bringing your doggie, so we can accommodate you. 🐶

Grand Opening Day

In June 2024, we signed the lease for what became the most challenging project of our lives. Now, a year and a half later, we can proudly say—we did it.

There were many setbacks, countless sleepless nights, endless hours of hard work, a few tears, and lots of laughter. Through it all, the love and support from our community kept us going, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

On December 26th, 2025, at 12:00 PM, we will finally turn on the lights of our dream and welcome you into our cozy restaurant—where everyone is treated like family, and every meal is made with love and flavor.

Our menu brings together the bold taste of grilled meats with our special house sauce, alongside a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. For something sweet, enjoy classic ice cream bowls, crêpes, waffles, and pancakes. Between mealtimes, we’ll also be serving tea-time cakes and hot drinks to keep you warm this winter.

The big day is getting closer! After all this time of preparation, the excitement is building and everyone is eager to discover what we’ve been working on. We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new restaurant, where BBQ meets a delicious Portuguese twist.
