There’s something special about trying a dish for the very first time. Maybe it’s your pal convincing you to order the one you would never usually go for or maybe it’s the smell drifting across the harbour that changes your mind. We love it when our customers surprise themselves and find a new favouite by accident.

At Nauti we believe good food should be exciting. We love to see people with messy fingers, laughing and swapping bites across the table. From spice infused halloumi toppings to fresh seafood specials, we always aim to bring something a little extra to the table.

A wee heads up, folks ⚓

Because Nauti has a commitment to using the freshest ingredients, including just-landed seafood, and cook every part of your meal from scratch using lots and lots of raw ingredients, sometimes items sell out for the day.

It's a bright and breezy Sunday here at Dunbar Harbour, perfect for blowing out the cobwebs, just hold onto your hat! 🌊☀️

done the Nauti way

Back in the mists of time, Londoners were enjoying fried fish from street vendors while chipped potatoes were going down a treat in the industrial smog of Northern England. By the late 19th century, the two had met and formed a beautiful relationship.

It’s National Fish and Chip day and while we love a bit of tradition, we also like bold flavours, celebrating the best of Scottish waters and serving up in a stunning wee harbour.

So, this Fish and Chip day, why not go with triple-cooked Maris Piper chips served up with a half lobster sizzling with garlic butter and oozing unctuous juices. Or go for the smoked haddock arancini with cheese foam and herb oil – with Nauti chips, of course. Or keep it a bit more trad and go for the perfect white flaking fish we use in our ever-popular fishfinger sandwich.
