Raffy went to Crumlin for surgery three weeks ago. Thankfully, the operation seems to have been successful, but it's been a rocky road to recovery, and he's still in ICU.

For now, we're continuing to split our time between Dublin and Dungannon. With that, and a new arrival due very soon (!), we've decided it's best to keep the shop closed until we know we can give it the time and attention it deserves, while also focusing on our family.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and support. It means a lot.

Finally, I want to say how incredible everyone at CHI in Crumlin has been. I don't think we have the words to express how grateful we are for their care, expertise, kindness, dedication, and compassion. We feel incredibly fortunate to have access to such an amazing team. ❤️

A little update from us...

We've decided to close the shop this month.

We usually close for the Twelfth weekend (if you're reading this from outside Northern Ireland, you might need to Google that! 😄), and we'd originally planned to open later in the month as normal.

However, we're still waiting to hear when our son's surgery will be. There's a good chance we'll either be at the hospital or helping him recover around the time we were due to reopen.

Rather than announce opening dates that we may not be able to stick to, we've decided it's best to keep the shop closed for the whole month. It gives us the flexibility to focus on our family without letting anyone down.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support—it really does mean a lot to us.

We're sorry for any inconvenience, and we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can.

And we have STEAKS! Regeneratively reared, Shorthorn, slow-grown, grassfed and DEEEEELICIOUS.

We also have all the pies (including some chilli & cheddar), scotch eggs, sausage rolls, sweet pies and lots of other lovely local produce.

Yes, that means we do not have steaks in the shop this weekend! But you can collect them on Monday so all is not lost

IT'S A PIE SHOP WEEKEND!

I'm very late with my social media, been a bit of a week!

We hope to have our grassfed Shorthorn steaks in the shop, stay tuned to find out. We will definitely have our homemade pies, scotch eggs and sausage rolls, all made with a homemade buttery pastry, as well as lots of delicious sweet stuff.
