South Durham Honey

South Durham Honey We started Beekeeping in 2008 with a single hive, since then it has gone from a hobby to a passion and now a family run business.

Our bees are kept in some fantastic locations in Co Durham including lots of local farms - Auckland Castle – Low Barns Nature Reserve and Durham University. We work closely with local organisations and farmers to provide pollination of local crops and wild flowers. Throughout the spring summer and autumn months our bees work the beautiful hedgerows, wildflowers and riverbanks of Co Durham to produ

ce our delicious wildflower honeys before moving on to the idyllic Heather Moors of The Durham Dales and North Yorkshire giving us our distinctive Heather Honey.
