There'll be a small forest of Basil, Runner Beans, Climbing Beans, Dwarf Beans, Sweetcorn, Courgettes, Squash, all the rest of the usual wonders, plus many varieties of Sunflowers!

VOLUNTEER(S) NEEDED!

The Plot Thickens. is a small veg & herb nursery and micro market garden based in , and I'm looking for one or two extra volunteers to help maintain the upkeep of the market garden. Meaning, planting out, weeding, and general maintenance of the beds. I have a small handful of great helpers who sow and pot on, but the veg beds are falling behind, and I just don't have the time to look after them, as my time is spent trying to keep everything running, headless chicken style.
If you're keen on a bit of physical work, but at your own pace, in a peaceful environment, and with plants and produce as thanks for your efforts, then please DM me for further details.

I do like a wee project to be getting on with while the days are a sodden slop of half lit daylight hours, so this 5 metre greenhouse that I got from a nice lad in Hawick in the summer has been a grand job to be doing during days like these.
This is the largest one so far, and if I don't stop getting a hold of greenhouses, I'll qualify for a national collection before too long.
I got the paving stones from him as well, and the greenhouse is built on 64 of 'em. Not quite finished in that department, but I'll get that done soon.

Happy to have this addition for the nursery/micro-market garden, and look forward to filling it with a million seedlings and eventually some tasty toms, chillies, peppers, and mini aubergines.
