Salt & Pepper Chicken & Chips

Blend required

South Downs Seasoning Co. Asian All Purpose

Ingredients

* 2 chicken breast, diced
* 500g chips
* 1 white onion, sliced
* 2 peppers, sliced
* 1 spring onion, sliced
* Sesame seeds
* 1 tbsp honey
* South Downs Seasoning Co. Asian All Purpose

Chicken marinade

* 2 tbsp Asian All Purpose
* 1 tbsp cornflour
* 1 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tsp sesame oil

Mix the chicken with the marinade and leave for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the chips until golden and crispy. Meanwhile, fry the chicken in a little oil over a high heat until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

In the same pan, stir-fry the onion and peppers for 2–3 minutes. Add the chicken and chips back in, along with a generous sprinkle of Asian All Purpose.

Drizzle over the honey and toss everything together until hot, sticky and well coated.

Finish with spring onion and sesame seeds.

A whole year ago today, we went live with South Downs Seasoning Co.

We don’t want to make a massive song and dance about it. BUT we do want to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year from everyone who helped us bring the seasonings to market, to every single customer who has bought a tin.

We really do appreciate it. Here’s to the next one.
