On the final day of the last millennium, the Grant family and Glenfarclas Distillery team gathered to fill a series of casks. Among them was George S. Grant, Glenfarclas Chairman of 52 years, alongside his son John, now at the helm of the family-owned distillery. It was the last day George S. Grant would visit Glenfarclas before his passing in 2002, making these casks especially meaningful.🥃⁠

The Last of The Millennium Bottling, the fourth edition in the Glenfarclas Decanter Series, was chosen from the twelve casks filled on 31 December 1999. This single sherry butt embodies the heritage, character and timeless style of Glenfarclas.

Matured for over 25 years and bottled on 28 August 2025 at natural colour and 51.2% ABV, this release is presented in just 600 Glencairn decanters.

The Decanter Series celebrates five generations of the Grant family with five decanters over five years — each reflecting the style their generation would choose. The fifth and final edition will arrive in 2026.

We are excited to add another decade into the range of Glenfarclas Family Casks with the addition of a 2010 vintage, bringing the Family Casks range into a new decade 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⁠

The Family Casks were initially launched in 2007, and this extensive range of single casks span from 1952 to 2010. It is believed to be the single largest collection of consecutive vintage Scotch whisky in the world. The oldest casks were laid down by George S. Grant and released by his son John L. S. Grant 55 years later. John has continued the tradition by laying down casks of whisky that now form part of this famous collection.

This unique collection showcases a range of cask types, fills, methods and ages, in the purest style Glenfarclas. These bottles reflect moments in history that can be enjoyed and admired for years to come.

is delighted to once again be supporting the amazing work of The Distillers’ Charity by participating in The Distillers One of One Auction. This year, the distillery is donating a gallon (4.5 litre) bottle of 58 year old single malt, housed in this truly remarkable oak presentation box. The fifth generation family owned whisky producer was very happy when neighbour, the outstanding local sculptor Stuart Murdoch, agreed to help support the cause by hand carving a box worthy of this exceptional whisky.
