We've worked with some amazing artists over the past few years, and we want you to share how wonderful they are with you!

When this artist reached out to us, it felt like fate. We were looking to upgrade our little spaceman on Lost in the Sauce, and who should get in touch but Lost Astronaut, asking if we could work together.

Fraser (he/they) aka Lost Astronaut Design, is a Glasgow-based artist and designer who creates rich, vibrant worlds inspired by fantasy, sci-fi and nature through bold character-driven illustrations and playful design.

Like a match made in heaven, we subsequently worked together to update another of our labels, this time for Cocoa Cannonball. And if that weren't enough, we joined up a third time at the start of 2026 for our sapphic hibiscus and lemon gose Super Graphic Ultra Modern Gose. If these weren't spectacular enough, Fraser also designed our very special No AI logo, which you can now find on all of our cans (cause F**k AI).

We’ve had the absolute joy of working with some incredible artists over the past few years, so we thought you should get to know them a little better with our new artist spotlight!

Kicking things off is Jean Anderson (they/them), better known as

This Edinburgh-based q***r artist, alongside their partner Poppy, has run Enbean Art since 2022, celebrating all bodies, gender identities and expressions. Their work is bursting with bright colours, playful shapes and a dash of silliness too. As well as designing two fantastic beer labels for us, Jean sells prints, stickers and badges of their artwork.

We’ve been lucky enough to work with Enbean Art not once, but twice, for some of our best-loved pale ales: Spectre and Vampire Spa Day. In fact, Spectre is out in shops right now!

Whether you are headed to a bottle shop to grab a couple of cans or heading over to the Enbean Instagram page to give them a follow, thank you for supporting q***r businesses this year!

"Thine Cup Runneth Over" is a full-bodied stout brewed with single origin Selva cacao husks (courtesy of the wonderful folks at ) from Peru for rich notes of dark chocolate.

The artwork was designed by the fantastic . You may remember her incredible design for "They're Turning The Friggin Frogs Gay" earlier this year.

It's our second year creating a beer for ***rfilm and this year we pulled out all the stops for a show-stopping New Zealand Pils; Director's Cut.

Hopped with Pacific Jade and Wai-iti to give a soft rounded bitterness, with delicate notes of lemon citrus, white wine, and fresh lime. A classic lager style with a New Zealand twist, Director’s Cut is bright, crisp and perfectly refreshing.

As the official drinks sponsors of the Scottish Q***r International Film Festival, this gorgeous New Zealand Pils doesn't just taste good, it does good! We are splitting profits from the sale of Director’s Cut with SQIFF to help keep the festival going.

🎃 Spooky season is back at Closet Brewing! 👻

This ghostly Black IPA presents a gothic twist on your classic IPA. The unholy combination of dark malts and resinous hops produces a haunting bitterness. Much like a vengeful spirit, the flavour lingers even after the drink is all gone.

Hopped with classic US hops, Chinook, Citra, and Amarillo for aromas of dank pine and orange zest laid over a punchy bitter backbone. Rye adds a little spice to the body, and dark malts amp those roasted notes up to 11.

The amazing artwork is courtesy of who is a q***r, neurodivergent trans tattooist and artist who specialises in weird little creatures (and their cute little accessories).

Beyond the Pale is available to buy now in all good bottle shops!

One question we always get asked is "what pubs in Edinburgh sell your beer" and we have a hard time answering because we only tend to be on tap for a certain week or specific event, so can never quite give a clear answer...

We're over the moon to share that long-time Closet Brewing partners, The Bowlers Rest, are now officially pouring our first permanent line!

You'll be able to get a Closet Brewing pint from Ceceley and the team whenever your heart desires. Right now they are pouring our dark Vienna lager, "Freudian Slip", so head on over tonight for the inaugural pours.
