๐ค A wedding cake left the nest ๐ค
The brief: white and yellow - colour theme, lemon for flavour.
A moist lemon sponge layered with cream cheese frosting and a homemade lemon & vanilla bean curd. Light, refreshing and perfect for a celebration in the warmer months.
For the decoration, I wanted to keep the palette soft and elegant. Starting with whites, moving through the natural ivory tones of the frosting and finishing with delicate yellow touches from the flowers.
The blooms came from Hannah at Yorkshire Edible Flowers and once again, they were absolutely beautiful. One of my favourite things about running this business is being able to work alongside other local businesses and combine what we each do best to create something special for a customer.
