The Oban Winter Festival’s team of volunteers are bringing The Great Oban Food Market to town - a celebration of the incredible local food, drink and artisan produce from across Scotland, Argyll & The Isles. Expect fresh seafood, home‑baked favourites, cheeses, preserves, whisky, sweet treats and so much more… all under one roof at the Corran Halls.

Been a busy summer behind the scenes! ☀️

We’ve finally managed to source a semi-automatic capper for our mini bottles and any producer who’s ever had to cap these little beauties by hand will know they are not for the faint hearted endurance!

Happy to report the trials went smoothly, the caps are on… and, most importantly, our hands are saved! 🙌

It’s the little things that make a very big difference. ❤️

Clan Artisan

A wee delivery day trip to Stirling ❤️

We dropped off a fresh delivery of Slàinte Sauces to the lovely Clan Artisan on Port Street.

Such a gorgeous shop, packed with gifts and goodies from brilliant independent makers, and we’re always delighted to see our bottles and our very popular gift boxes sitting amongst them.

If you’re in Stirling, definitely pop in for a browse… although good luck leaving empty-handed! 😄

The Pierhouse Hotel

Our local ❤️

For those of us who live on Lismore, The Pierhouse Hotel is so much more than a beautiful hotel across the water.

It’s our local.

On a summer’s day, there are few better places to sit out on the deck, looking across the loch towards home. And on a wild west coast evening, it’s a welcome shelter, somewhere to sit by the fire, have something lovely to eat or drink, and wait for the ferry home.

We’re incredibly lucky to have a place like this on our doorstep, and even more so because they genuinely support the producers and small businesses around them, sourcing and celebrating so much from this little corner of the west coast.

So seeing Slàinte Sauces sitting here, looking out towards our island, is rather special. ❤️

Thank you to everyone at The Pierhouse for stocking our sauces, for supporting local businesses, and for always being such a warm welcome on the other side of the water.

And now the important question… Whisky & Chocolate or Clootie Dumpling? 🥃😉
