The Hub Englefield Green In October 2012 the Journey, River Church cut the ribbon at the grand opening of The Hub, located on the West side of Englefield Green.

Opened in 2012 - The Journey Church working together with local residents and other agencies to provide a centre for community based initiatives, offering access to helpful services and enjoyable activities. Once an active British Legion club, the building is now being used as a centre for community based initiatives, offering access to helpful services and enjoyable activities. Working together w

ith local residents and other agencies; we aim to bring local people together. We have achieved so much, with the Hub acting as a catalyst, for raising individual and community aspirations and building pride in our estate. A programme of regular, tailored activities runs throughout the week including youth and children’s clubs, workshops and courses, cafe and garden project, cooking club, Sunday lunches, bee keeping club, community days and much more. In June 2017 we were delighted to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, an outstanding achievement that recognised the exceptional efforts of our dedicated volunteers.
