This Friday we are dropping a pint. 🍺

On Friday 9 October we are taking 55p off every pint of our own cask and keg b**r at the Exeter Brewery Taproom from 5pm and at The Hourglass. The Hour Glass is keeping the offer going on Saturday too.

It is our part in Drop a Pint Day, run by SIBA as part of the Drop the Tap Tax campaign. The gap in b**r duty between the UK and Germany is huge, and 55p off is a small taste of what a fairer tax could mean for brewers, pubs and drinkers.

That's day one of Powderham Food Festival Powderham wrapped 🍺

As main bar sponsor, Exeter Brewery supplied and installed the bar, and we've been pouring Avocet and County Best on cask, alongside IPL, Devon's first organic l***r, and Darkness on keg.🍻

Thanks to everyone who came and found us today, it's been a great first day. We'll be back tomorrow, 10am to 5pm, Powderham Castle.

Come and join the team at Exeter Brewery.

We're looking for friendly, reliable people to help us run our taproom. You'll be pouring our b**rs, welcoming customers and keeping the bar running smoothly, all while helping to create the relaxed, friendly atmosphere we want the taproom to be known for.

What we're looking for:
✔️ Great customer service and communication
✔️ Reliability and a positive attitude
✔️ Confidence in a busy environment
✔️ Availability for evenings and weekends
✔️ An interest in b**r and brewing

Bar experience is great but not essential. Bring the right attitude and we'll teach you the b**r knowledge and bar skills.

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Tap Room, The Hourglass or their local and raised a glass with us over the last eleven days. Cask conditioned ale supports pubs, breweries and thousands of jobs across the UK, so here's to keeping that tradition going all year, not just for one fortnight.
