Sticky bbq fried ‘chicken’
This recipe is designed to be altered for 4 thighs to infinite thighs
Dry mix,
1 part rice flour, 1 part corn flour, 2 part plain flour
Wet mix,
Half tin of coconut milk, sweet pepper sauce to taste
Method :
Dip into wet mix, then fully coat in dry, quickly dip back into wet then fully coat again on the dry. Creating a double batter that will be thick but crispy.
Fry in oil of choice till golden. Remove and preheat oven to 200 degrees (fan)
Prep the sauce,
All to taste, sorry no measurements over here just pure love.
Tomato sauce
Hoisin
Soy sauce
Rice vinegar
Sesame oil
Sriracha sauce
Fully coat thighs then chuck in oven till crispy again.
Fully aware the chives have been savaged definitely not rate my chive worthy.
