Last night we were joined by the lovely Easy Cooking with Aneta / 5 Element Cooking World
If you’re new to the 5 Element Cooking Method, it’s a beautiful approach rooted in Chinese medicine that teaches you how to combine all five elements in every dish, creating perfectly balanced flavours.
Cooking and eating with the seasons, the method supports harmony in the body and helps restore balance (Yin & Yang).
Each element corresponds to a flavour:
🌱 Earth – Sweet
🔥 Fire – Bitter
💧 Water – Salty
🌳 Wood – Sour
⚙️ Metal – Pungent
The pasta-making session itself was pure joy, calming, hands-on, and surprisingly easy. So therapeutic, so fun, and honestly… incredibly satisfying.
No fancy pasta machines needed either, just a pair of hands, a good silicone mat, and a rolling pin.
