What a setting for a beer festival!
If you fancy a flutter and a great beer, head down to this Friday and Saturday. Lots of fantastic beers available while watching the races.

Tickets are available via the Ascot Race Course website.

Casks of Blind Bishop’s Best and Walking Between Raindrops will be there, among the other 160 odd options.

Another beer on the way!

This IPA is part of a trio. They all have one of my fav hops, Galaxy, along with the old classic combo of Citra and Mosiac. All three beers have the same quantities of hops, but using different amounts at different stages. Plus each has different malts, with different ABVs, showcasing just how versatile and amazing this hop combination can be.

Can’t wait to get this out there for you all!!!

Who loves a lager?
Got a brand new beer fermenting away, an Italian style Pilsner using traditional Saaz hops, but also with a touch of Strata.

First time brewing this and really looking forward to this! Should be ready around June.

What a fantastic way to launch a teeny tiny indie brewery. I can’t thank all those at Farnham Beerex enough for their support and encouragement as well as championing Farnham Town Brewery during the festival.

Big thanks to all those for trying the beer and all the feedback, which has been overwhelmingly positive.

Bitter in keg is not the norm, and pretty much everyone mentioned wishing that it was in cask. Pleased to say casks have now arrived, so future versions of Blind Bishop’s Steps (as well as some other beers) will be in cask!

Lots of work ongoing for the next beer release, website updates and a lot lot more!

Apologies for the manic expression, but was immensely excited and uber proud to see the first beer for FTB pouring at Thursday night. Reception has been great, thanks to all those that drank it and gave me feedback, appreciate it. First keg nearly gone already!!

Will be there Friday evening and both sessions on Saturday, behind the bar Saturday evening. Come say hi and give it try!

The Beer: Blind Bishop's Steps
Style: Bitter
ABV: 4.1%
Details: Named after the steps leading up to Farnham Castle, this bitter is well balanced and highly drinkable.

A base of traditional malts adds caramel like sweetness with a very gentle hint of light roasted chocolate. Complemented with delicate floral notes and a good rounded bitterness from whole leaf Fuggle hops, produced locally by the Hamptons Estate.
