This time next week, we’ll (hopefully!) be putting our feet up after a brilliantly busy first day at the Lincolnshire Show! 🎉

We’ll be in our usual spot in the Food Court, with plenty of samples flowing, bottles available to take home, and the chance to try everything from our award-winning gins to our Lincoln Spiced Rum.

If you’re heading to the show, make sure you come and say hello, have a taste, and discover what’s being crafted right here in Lincolnshire. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet plenty of new ones too.

Life has definitely been life-ing lately… between half term, birthday celebrations, and everything else that comes with running a small business, social media has taken a bit of a back seat! 🫠

But what a weekend we had at Call of the Wild Festival! 🤘🔥

The atmosphere was incredible, the music was amazing, and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying Howl Rum throughout the weekend.

The demand completely blew us away. We ended up making multiple trips to top up stock behind the bar, and by the end of the festival we’d completely sold out. We probably should have seen it coming really… it is pretty delicious! 🐺🥃

There’s something special about seeing people discover your product for the first time, especially at an event with such a brilliant vibe. A huge thank you to everyone who gave Howl Rum a try and to the team at Call of the Wild for putting on another fantastic festival.

We’re already looking forward to next year… and after experiencing the atmosphere this time, we think we’ll be making a weekend of it! 🤘

Today’s theme is throwback… and this one really is a throwback 🥹

Next week this tiny baby in Matt’s arms turns 8. Since this photo was taken, we’ve gone from dreams and ideas to stills, shelves, events, sleepless nights, early mornings, and thousands of bottles of Lincoln Gin finding homes all over the country.

So much has changed over the years, but one thing never has — the support from all of you. Whether you bought a bottle at the very beginning, shared a post, visited us at an event, or only discovered us recently… thank you for being part of the journey.

Big love to everyone who’s been with us since day one, and to everyone who’s joined along the way 💛

Today’s theme is miniatures… and we do have a soft spot for the little ones 🥹🤏🏻

This one is our special White Hart Hotel mini, made just for some of their hotel rooms — complete with its own personalised label.

There’s just something about a miniature bottle that people can’t resist. Fun-sized, giftable, collectable… and somehow even cuter when filled with gin.

We absolutely love creating personalised minis for businesses, weddings, events and special projects. Tiny bottles. Big personality. 🍸

Today’s theme is equal parts 🍸🚴‍♂️

Which feels very fitting when Lincoln is hosting the legendary Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix today — with riders taking on the cobbles of Michaelgate while the rest of us are out of breath just watching them.

So today’s serve is beautifully simple:
Equal parts good gin and good company.
(And maybe a tonic too.)

Today’s theme is navy… but we’ve accidentally had a full day of red instead 🔴⚽️

Spent the day at the Lincoln City celebrations and honestly, after that atmosphere, it didn’t feel right posting anything else.

So tonight’s pairing is:
Red shirts.
Red smoke.
Red faces from cheering so loud

Tonight’s theme is Mixer… and we’re big believers that the mixer matters nearly as much as the gin.

You can spend months perfecting a recipe (trust us… we have 👀) but when your drink is made up of a little gin and a lot of mixer, that final pour can completely change everything. Too sweet? Too flat? Too overpowering? Straight to gin jail.

We wanted our customers to be able to easily pick up a quality mixer that actually lets the gin shine instead of completely bulldozing over it - so we partnered with Fever-Tree 🫶🏻

And before the tonic purists come for us… if you like your gin with lemonade instead? Crack on. We don’t judge here. Some people want delicate quinine and citrus notes… some people want full-on pub garden nostalgia in a glass 🤣

As long as there’s Lincoln Gin in it, we’re happy 🍸

Today’s is classic ✨

And for us, it doesn’t get more classic than our original Lincoln Gin — inspired by the city we’re proud to call home 🍸

The botanicals weren’t chosen at random either…
Liquorice root gives a nod to Lincoln’s historic Liquorice Park.
Beetroot was inspired by the last distillery to operate in Lincoln back in the 1800s.
And elderflower brings in a little piece of the Lincolnshire countryside we’re lucky enough to be surrounded by.

Alongside the classic foundations of juniper, coriander and citrus, it’s our way of bottling a little bit of Lincoln history and heritage into every pour ✨

Today’s is shelfie… and this one means a lot.

Our first ever shelfie!

Lincoln Gin sitting proudly in The Whisky Shop Bailgate — the moment it stopped being an idea and became something real.

A lot has changed since then. We’ve grown, refined, learned (and yes… aged slightly along the way 🤣)

But one thing hasn’t changed — that little buzz when we see our bottles out in the world.

Even now, I still catch myself taking photos of them on shelves… (Just not every Co-op visit — there are limits😅)

Some things never get old.
