What a brilliant weekend at Lincoln Steampunk Asylum! ⚙️🖤

Another year, and this is honestly always one of our absolute favourite events. Brilliant people, incredible vibes, and somehow the weather actually held off for us too!

We’ve seen so many familiar faces, made some new friends, and had the absolute best weekend. There were also a few faces we were genuinely sad not to see this year… you know who you are. You were missed!

And as for the Steampunk Asylum Rum… well, it went down an absolute STORM! So much so that I had to get back to the distillery on Saturday night and bottle and label more just to keep up. 😂

What a weekend. What an event. Perfection.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us, had a drink, bought a bottle, stopped for a chat or simply made the weekend what it was.

Already counting down to next year.

Hello from The Lincoln Distillery!

If you’re new around here, let us introduce ourselves…

We’re Matt, Jen & John — the faces (and family) behind The Lincoln Distillery.

From distilling, bottling and labelling to packing orders, running events and probably arguing over whose turn it is to make the coffee, we genuinely do it all ourselves!

We’re a small, independent family-run distillery based in Lincolnshire, creating proper gin, rum and other spirits that we’re incredibly proud of.

So whether you’ve been following us for years or you’ve just stumbled across us — welcome! We’re really glad you’re here.

Stick around for a bit of distillery life, new products, behind-the-scenes chaos, events, cocktails and plenty of gin.

☀️ Summer is officially here (and don’t we know about it 🫠🥵… and our diary is absolutely packed! 🍸✈️

We’re kicking off an incredible run of events this weekend at the Duxford Air Show, and we can’t wait to be back amongst the amazing aircraft, history lovers and fellow traders.

From there, we’ll be heading to the fantastic Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival, followed by the iconic Lincoln 1940s Weekend. With plenty more shows and events throughout the summer, we’ll be rounding it all off in style at the Lincoln Steampunk Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Whether you’re a returning customer or discovering us for the very first time, we’d love you to stop by, say hello and sample our award-winning spirits.

It’s going to be a busy few months, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Keep an eye on our page for updates on where we’ll be next—we’d love to see you along the way!

What a fantastic first day at the Lincolnshire Show! 🎉

The rain just about held off, the crowds came out, and it was brilliant to see so many familiar faces stopping by for a chat and a sample (or two! 😉).

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us today and supported local spirits. We’ve loved sharing our gins, rum and liqueurs with you all.

If you’re heading to the show tomorrow, you’ll find us in our usual spot in the Food Court, fully stocked and ready with plenty of samples. Come and say hello!

This time next week, we’ll (hopefully!) be putting our feet up after a brilliantly busy first day at the Lincolnshire Show! 🎉

We’ll be in our usual spot in the Food Court, with plenty of samples flowing, bottles available to take home, and the chance to try everything from our award-winning gins to our Lincoln Spiced Rum.

If you’re heading to the show, make sure you come and say hello, have a taste, and discover what’s being crafted right here in Lincolnshire. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet plenty of new ones too.

Life has definitely been life-ing lately… between half term, birthday celebrations, and everything else that comes with running a small business, social media has taken a bit of a back seat! 🫠

But what a weekend we had at Call of the Wild Festival! 🤘🔥

The atmosphere was incredible, the music was amazing, and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying Howl Rum throughout the weekend.

The demand completely blew us away. We ended up making multiple trips to top up stock behind the bar, and by the end of the festival we’d completely sold out. We probably should have seen it coming really… it is pretty delicious! 🐺🥃

There’s something special about seeing people discover your product for the first time, especially at an event with such a brilliant vibe. A huge thank you to everyone who gave Howl Rum a try and to the team at Call of the Wild for putting on another fantastic festival.

We’re already looking forward to next year… and after experiencing the atmosphere this time, we think we’ll be making a weekend of it! 🤘
