In light of recent headlines regarding Salmonella and imported eggs, i thought I’d make it clear that although I sell eggs direct from farm on a relatively small scale - this does not mean that food safety standards are any less important.

First time packing eggs in my new branding!

I am so pleased with how much it reflects the uniqueness of how the eggs are produced ✨

For those that don’t know, I hand pack every egg in my certified packing centre, which has passed council inspections to ensure it’s hygienic and safe for storing and packing eggs ✅

Every egg is:
Candled with the light - the bright light lets me check for internal/external defects.
Stamped - all eggs sold off farm have to be stamped with my producer ID.
Dated - shelf life is 28 days from day they are laid.

And then like this morning they are being sold before I can get them on the shelf🥚
