It’s an exciting week here in Gatehouse of Fleet, and an exciting week at The Galloway Larder too.

This evening sees the launch of our brand new Wine Bites menu, perfect for a relaxed glass of wine with a few delicious small plates before the Torchlight Procession.

Then, from this Friday evening, we’re delighted to unveil our new summer dining menu. Inspired by the season, it’s a lighter, fresher menu designed for long summer evenings.

Whether you’ve joined us before or have been looking for the perfect excuse to visit for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.

Tables are still available on both Friday and Saturday evening, but we’d recommend booking soon via [email protected], by DM on our social channels, or by calling 01557 520121.

Gatehouse Gala Week is here… and we’re launching something new 🔥

This Wednesday, before the Gatehouse Gala Week Torchlight Procession, why not start your evening with us?

This Wednesday also marks the launch of our brand new Wine Bites menu in the Wine Bar. From 5pm, we’ll be serving a selection of warm small plates, perfect for snacking over a great wine. Whether you’re meeting friends before the procession or simply fancy a relaxed start to your evening, we’d love to welcome you.

The Wine Bar is open from 5pm. If you’d like to join us before the procession, we’d recommend booking your table.

And if you can’t make it on Wednesday, don’t worry – Wine Bites will be available on every Wine Bar evening going forward. We can’t wait to share our new menu with you.

With another spell of warm summer weather upon us, we’ve introduced a new light lunch special.

Choose from our crisp Chicken Caesar Salad, with tender chicken, crunchy homemade croutons, parmesan and caesar dressing, or a traditional Ploughman’s Lunch with mature cheddar, ham, local chutney, pork pie, pickles, fresh salad and crusty bread. Both are served with a chilled 125ml glass of Pinot Grigio, White or Blush, for £17.95.

Simple food, a chilled glass of wine and a summer afternoon. Sometimes that’s all you need.
