Guy for All Seasons My life as a hedonistic, pleasure seeking glutton. www.guyforallseaons.com Interviews with producers, retailers, diners, restaurant staff.

I’m thunderstruck at the prospect of sharing my hedonistic panorama of a life as a pleasure seeking glutton. These culinary quests will manifest in various forms; simple restaurant reviews from my travels, be it in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, Europe or further afield. Then there will be recipes, food and cookery shopping trips, advice on knives, pots, stoves and other kitchen and dining room related it

ems. I will demonstrate how simple it is to go from a life of processed, sanitised and nutrition-less food to a varied and exciting diet packed full of nature’s goodies.

Blessed to have on our doorstep, spur-of-the-moment suppers, like last night’s, are just a thought away.
Gorgeous and bread (demolished before I thought of a picture) followed with a sampling of their irresistible new garlicky and soft Sicilian salami (I remembered to catch this last slice before that too was gone) got us started
Spaghettini Arrabbiata for and a mighty meaty ragu on my pasta are reason enough to be here. The new addition to the bar, alcohol free Botanic lager was clean, fresh and bright, a perfect match.

Hats off to the entire team, opening night was a celebration, a fireworks display, a success.
This now means that can eat splendid Italian regional pastas without leaving their chichi stomping ground.
The burning question, will have access? 😂

I’m speechless, came home after a day grubbing around cash and carry stores, leaving me weary and grey. That all changed in a flash. Sitting in my hall was a big box from my favourite shop on the planet - crammed full of all variety of Italian goodness. Thank you .contini .oil you’ve made turning 70 a joy… Nearly had me greeting. THANK YOU❤️🇮🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
