Taylor & Martin Property Management is a property factoring service catering to property owners who desire a hands-on, proactive service. We manage a range of buildings and developments from traditional tenement blocks to new build developments. Taylor & Martin was born out of the belief that property management should be a personal service with the ability to adapt to the wide variety of homeowners and their properties. Our philosophy is therefore centred around strong onsite presence and close communication with all of our clients in order to form relationships with each of them. We achieve this by maintaining a select portfolio of properties, allowing us to dedicate the necessary time to provide a premium service. Taylor & Martin manage a range of services including communal, garden maintenance, buildings insurance, lift maintenance and fire protection services.

🎉 Meet our Employee of the Quarter, Hannah Hume!

With 10 years of experience in property management, Hannah joined our Glasgow team in April and has quickly become a valued part of Taylor & Martin.

But what does she enjoy most about working here? The people.

When we asked Hannah what she enjoys most about being part of T&M, she told us:

"The team approach, support and general working environment. Every day is different and fun. It's an environment where we can learn from one another and build strong knowledge bases."

She's also a big believer in celebrating the wins, big and small, and appreciates the way the team comes together, whether that's supporting one another at work or getting involved in fundraising for our charity partner, SAMH 🩷

So, how did she feel when she found out she'd been named Employee of the Quarter?

Still looking good a year on. ✨

Our Property Manager Rachel Mothersole captured these photos during a recent visit to one of our managed developments on Sauchiehall Street, which underwent a redecoration last year.

The photos capture some of the lovely details that give Glasgow’s traditional tenements their character, including the stunning windows in the close.

Good property management is about more than getting work done. It’s about taking a proactive approach to maintaining shared spaces and making sure buildings continue to be well cared for long after the work is complete.

📍 New Appointment – Station Wynd 📍

We’re pleased to have been appointed by Strathcarron Homes as for Station Wynd, a new-build development of 25 homes.

As the development progresses and homeowners move in, we’ll be putting the right factoring arrangements in place to manage the shared areas and services, while providing a clear point of contact for homeowners.

Station Wynd is a great example of the range of developments we work across, from new-build communities to established developments, traditional tenements and retirement properties.

We look forward to providing the factoring service as Station Wynd takes shape and the community begins to grow.

After celebrating colleagues taking on the Great Scottish Run, we're giving a shout-out to Wayne, who tackled the Glen Affric Gravel Sportive on Saturday as part of the Ben Wyvis Cycle Club.

Taking on the gruelling 40-mile route, featuring around 4,900ft of climbing, Wayne crossed the line in 4 hours 58 minutes, describing the event as "38 miles of steep climbs followed by a 2-mile bone-jarring descent to the finish."

Well done to all of the riders and volunters and thanks again to Wayne for sharing a photo of our Taylor & Martin banner proudly on display at the finish line of Round 1 of the Scottish National Cyclo Cross Series on Sunday.

Both events saw some impressive performances from club members, including podium finishes and category wins, despite some challenging Highland weather.

What a day! 🏃‍♀️

A huge well done to everyone from Taylor & Martin who took on the Great Scottish Run at the weekend, tackling either the 10K or the half marathon.

There was plenty of training, a few nerves, some very tired legs and extremely well deserved rest afterwards!

Most importantly, everyone was running to raise money for our charity partner, and we’re so proud of the team for getting involved and helping us raise as much as we can.

And the fundraising doesn’t stop at the finish line! We’re still raising money for SAMH, so if you’d like to support our team and help us raise even more, donations are still very welcome.

Anniversary celebrations at Regent Place 🥂

At Taylor & Martin, one of the things we really value about managing developments is getting to know the people who live in the communities we look after.

So we were absolutely delighted to hear about Tom and Joyce Hagan, residents at Regent Place in Dundee, celebrating a very special milestone this week.

The happy couple have been married for an incredible 71 years and celebrated the occassion with a lovely meal at the Invercarse Hotel. I think we can all agree that they both look fantastic!

It’s stories like theirs that make the communities we look after feel so much more personal, and it’s a real privilege to be able to share in these little glimpses of our residents’ lives.

Congratulations again to Tom and Joyce, we hope you had a wonderful celebration and wish you both many more happy memories together.❤️
