Wow it’s been an epic week of news coverage from our Dragons’ Den Global episode!! 🤩🗞️✨

I don’t actually read the news 🙈 but I’ve had so many friends and family sending over articles they’ve spotted about us, which has been so surreal 🤍

The question that I reflected on most after leaving the Den! 🙈🐉

Steven asked if I’m an overthinker. I paused, because the honest answer at that point in my journey was ‘yes’.

After the episode was filmed, I actually really sat with what he said. There have been decisions I held onto for too long, moments where moving faster could have helped us scale quicker. He was right to call that out.

But the same part of me that overthinks is the part that wouldn’t let a recipe leave the kitchen until it was exactly right. It’s the part that questions everything until it’s worth putting my name on. Without that, there is no Moonji. There is no product.

What I’ve taken from that conversation isn’t to switch it off. It’s to trust myself faster. Over the last year I’ve made quicker calls, moved with more intuition, and the business has grown because of it 📈

Overthinking built this brand. Learning when to stop is what’s helping it scale.

It’s these uncomfortable conversations that actually help us grow and understand ourselves better. It felt harsh at the time, but I’m grateful I had the chance to have this conversation and to get feedback to help me learn 🙌

We had a watch party for our Dragons’ Den episode airing, and afterwards we were completely overwhelmed by all the positive comments and messages.

When this was filmed, I think I was still in shock about the whole thing. It still feels so surreal. It touched me sooo deeply hearing how many people felt emotional watching, and could feel just how much it meant to me receiving offers from two epic Dragons 🐉✨🤍
