Right then…
Apparently in 2026 every food business is supposed to have:
📸 slow-motion cheese pulls
📸 burgers balanced on tiny roof tiles
📸 chips in miniature shopping trolleys
📸 and a bloke with a beard sprinkling salt from 4 foot away
We haven’t got any of that.
What we DO have is:
🍔 Proper smash burgers
🍟 Dirty loaded fries
🌯 Chicken wraps & gyros
🥓 Breakfast baps
☕ Coffee strong enough to restart your life
No photos.
No influencers.
No nonsense.
Just turn up hungry and trust the process.

We’re heading to Painswick Cricket Club on Tuesday 18th August as Painswick CC take on Stroud CC in the Women’s Cricket 100 Ball Cup Final!

❌ NO CHIPS TODAY! 🍟🚫
It’s simply too hot in the van to have the fryer going. Grandpa is already grumpy enough without turning himself into a human chip.

And here’s the really annoying bit...
When it’s hot, apparently nobody wants hot food. 🤦‍♂️
Which is a bit awkward when your entire business involves standing next to a hot plate cooking burgers.

So, while the sun is doing its best to roast Gloucester, we’ll be keeping things a little simpler.
🍔 BURGERS ARE STILL ON!
🍟 Chips are having a well-earned holiday
🥵 Grandpa is melting
🙄 Patience is in short supply

Cold weather: “I want a burger.”
