He’s collected 2x Stewart Trailers from Rising Sun Trailer Hire ready for us to properly start in the maize next week 🚜🌽

Longer distances between field and farm plus hopefully a better crop - requires a bigger fleet 🤩

Unfortunately yesterday evening we received the phone call every farmer is dreading at the moment…. “Your field is on fire” 🔥

A huge thank you to Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service for their prompt response and efficient service 👏🏻

Thank you Rob (Goodall Joinery & Construction LTD) for fetching our tractor quickly to the field 🥳 which our very own fireman Sam quickly jumped on to create a break to stop further spread. Well done guys 👌🏻🚜

Another big thank you to Will Lee for supplying a second tractor & Dez for driving it 🙌🏻 this was a huge help and very much appreciated 🚜

Thankfully everyone is ok, there was no standing crop and it was contained very quickly.

It’s a harsh reminder of the extreme dry conditions we are facing at the moment so please be mindful, careful and stay safe 🙌🏻
