Hello from Stand Out Marketing!
I’m Gemma, I live in Langtree, rural North Devon and I’m really excited to finally introduce my new business, Stand Out Marketing.
Having worked in digital marketing for several years, a big part of my background has been understanding the customer journey, looking at how people find a business, what they see when they get there and what ultimately makes them choose one business over another.
And that journey has changed massively.
Even the Yellow Pages has gone digital!
When we need a plumber, somewhere to eat, a local shop, a tradesperson or somewhere to stay, most of us reach for our phones. We search Google, look at Facebook, check reviews, browse photos and try to work out, often within a few minutes, which business feels right.
That means having a good online presence isn't just for big businesses anymore.
But I also understand the reality of running a small business in a rural area like ours.
You’re busy actually doing the job, looking after customers, answering the phone, sending quotes, sorting paperwork and doing everything else that comes with running a business. Finding time to worry about Facebook, Google, websites and content can easily end up at the bottom of the list.
That’s why I’ve created Stand Out Marketing.
I want to help small and independent businesses across North Devon and the surrounding areas make marketing feel simpler and more manageable.
It might be making sure your business appears properly when somebody searches for you on Google. It might be keeping your social media active, improving your website or simply helping you work out where your marketing time and money would be best spent.
Ultimately, it’s about making it easier for your customers to **find you, understand what you offer and choose you.**
You don't need to become a marketing expert.
You need to be able to get on with running your business, knowing that when your next customer goes looking, you've given them every reason to find you.
