A wet, but at least not windy, day at Rockingham Castle yesterday with the The Shire Horse Society!

A big thank you to everyone who came to see us and tried some of our food whilst watching these wonderful gentle giants. We’re really proud that so much of what we serve is produced less than 10 miles away.

The Shire Horse Society National Summer Show - OFFICIAL is tomorrow at Rockingham Castle and Gardens !

We’ll be starting early, serving locally sourced bacon and sausages for breakfast along with our beef brisket & burgers from our farm in Hallaton from lunchtime. See you there!

The Rutland Flower Show starts tomorrow at the Rutland Showground and we are fully stocked up with brisket, burgers, and our famous local breakfast.

Find us near the food court and enjoy our locally reared beef, raised less than 10 miles away – it doesn’t get more farm-to-fork than that.

🌸 The Rutland Flower Show starts THIS FRIDAY! 🌸

The wait is almost over! From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August, the Rutland Showground will once again be transformed for three fantastic days celebrating flowers, gardens, creativity and the very best of summer. 💐🌿

There’s a huge amount to see and do across the weekend, including:

A lovely (and slightly cooler!) second day at the Global Birdfair

If you’re heading to the show tomorrow, come and find us in the Food Court! Start your day with one of our locally sourced breakfasts, then join us at lunchtime for our slow-cooked brisket or beef burgers. Our beef is reared just 12 miles away, so you’re supporting local farmers while enjoying great local food.

It’s a busy weekend ahead for us!

After The Medbourne Classic on Saturday, we’ll be heading to The Blaston Show on Sunday serving handmade burgers, slow-cooked brisket and loaded fries made with our own South Devon beef.

The Blaston Show has a special connection for us. Our South Devon herd has grazed the showground fields, so it’s nice to be back serving beef produced from the same land.

This Saturday, we’ll be serving our own South Devon beef at The Medbourne Classic.

Our South Devon herd is reared just 3 miles from the event, at our farm in Hallaton, so the burgers, slow-cooked brisket and loaded fries on your plate really don’t travel far. We’re proud to serve local food, produced right here in the Welland Valley.
