Parents of children due to begin primary school in 2027 should be aware that the registration period will be earlier than in previous years. Primary One registration has formerly been in January, but this year the registration window will be between 16 and 22 November 2026.

Meet Petal, our entry to the Quarter Scarecrow Festival. Petal was made with love by the staff and children of the nursery. She was created from natural or recycled materials and is very environmentally aware!
Petal loves to read books to little children, helping them to ‘escape to the story’ and feel grounded outdoors …

🌿 APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR 2027/28! 🌿

Is your little one turning 3 between 1st March 2027 and 29th February 2028? 💚

We are now beginning to welcome applications for places at Escape to the Story Kindergarten for the 2027/28 intake.

Although the funding application deadline isn’t until the end of February 2027, we are opening our own application process now and will begin allocating our available spaces. If you are offered a place here, you will be provided with the funding application in January. We accept funded hours and you can get 3 full days per week for free here. (8am- 6pm. We are open Mondays-Thursdays term time)

The first step is simply to get in touch and arrange a tour of our beautiful outdoor based nursery. Come and see our kindergarten, cabins, wild spaces and, most importantly, experience our unique approach to outdoor learning for yourself. 🌳🐿️🔥

💚 Once this form is completed and returned, your child will be added to our waiting list and we can then begin considering them for one of our available spaces.

The Tunnel Trail 🌳 is OPEN, just in time for our leavers to enjoy it before they head off to school. Made from surplus materials from building sites that would otherwise be skipped and 6 long months of hard graft from an amazing team of young joiners! Thank you to my husband for the vision and for creating this magical addition to our outdoor nursery ❤️
